Pacific West
Music of the Blind
Vision
To grow and nurture an inclusive music community dedicated to individuals who are blind or have low vision, providing opportunities to learn and perform as an individual or together.

Mission
1) We strive for individual success and confidence. Allowing for individual creativity and innovation with any type of music genre to bring out the best in our monthly meetings and in public spaces!
2) Teaming and collaboration are crucial and comes in the form of soloists, duets and trios. This is complemented by our current activity of designing and developing a marching band that will participate in public parades--without the use of sighted guides!
Monthly Music
Musicians Interest Meetings. We have a monthly virtual meeting in which attendees try new things and play parts of songs or entire pieces. This is a very fun and encouraging environment to increase confidence and add to your musical network. Contact us to join pacwestmus123@gmail.com

Performance Possibilities
Not all who attend and participate in Pacific West Music of the Blind aspire to perform in front of crowds--we get that--yet some of the musical skill in this cadre are at or above the phenomenal level!
A couple of places that have been blessed by our talent have been: Everett Aquasox, Evergreen Speedway, Everett Silvertips and upcoming this summer, the Tacoma Rainiers!
And as you read above, we will eventually participate in a parade!
